Pesticide Screening

Multiresidue Analysis for Agricultural Contaminants
In recognition of increasing concerns regarding the inadvertent contamination of biologically derived materials and excipients with pesticide residues, Pinnacle Compounds screens relevant inputs using comprehensive multiresidue pesticide analysis. This testing employs LC-MS/MS and GC-MS to detect a panel of over 100 regulated pesticides, including organophosphates, carbamates, organochlorines, neonicotinoids, and pyrethroids. Materials of botanical or agricultural origin are particularly scrutinized to prevent residual agrochemical contamination, which could affect cellular signaling pathways, enzyme activity, or toxicological profiles in vitro or in vivo. All pesticides must be non-detectable or fall below maximum residue limits (MRLs) set by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA). These measures ensure that the integrity of bioassays and experimental reproducibility are not compromised by exogenous xenobiotics.
